Entering a Quilt in the Show
Guild members who wish to enter a quilt into the 2017 Ozark Festival of Quilts, here is the entry form.
Please note: Entry form is due Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the guild meeting, (one month prior to the quilt show).
Entry of the quilt is due Thursday, October 5th, drop off at the First Baptist Church from 3-6:30 PM.
The form should be submitted to either: Melinda Reary, or Sara Wright, or Ina Bicknell.
For guild members submitting a quilt for display: be sure to include a 4″ hanging sleeve.
August Quilt Show Meeting
Our Ozark Festival of Quilts is fast approaching! Final preparations are in the works, so committees are busy, busy, busy! We will be having our regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 2nd at 2:00 at the Stitch Niche. If you are a chairperson and are unable to attend please let Lee or Allison know. All members of the Guild are welcome to attend.
Reminder from the Boutique Committee:
We are only two and a half months away from the quilt show and a month and a half away from turning in either your consignment or donation to the boutique. In case you forgot what the guidelines are for the boutique here are a few reminders.
The items must be new and made with fabric. It is not necessary that it be quilted. We will accept all items no later than the Sept. guild meeting unless you make arrangements with someone on the boutique committee. We will not accept items at the quilt show. All items will be logged on a spread sheet. The purpose of our record keeping is to know what sells and what works for us as a guild. All items will be tagged either donation or consignment. The consignments will be logged for each consignee.
With your help we hope to have a variety of items to sell. It can be Christmas, home décor, baby, totes or anything you think would be a great gift for someone.
