PPQG members—If you haven’t ventured over to Salem to see the quilt exhibit by the Current River Scrappers Quilt Guild, you have one more week to make it. Go see it. I can’t say enough good things about this small show. It’s well worth the short drive.
The show is a good mix of vintage and new quilts (mostly new), and there are several display cases with items such as pincushion and scissors collections, quilts in leather (yes, really!), and small quilted items. It takes a lot of effort to set up such a nice display of quilts, and the Current River Scrappers have done a great job, once again.
The free exhibit is open Monday-Friday next week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ozark Natural & Cultural Resource Center, 202 S. Main St., Salem.
