We’ve been asked to share the following note from the Missouri State Quilt Guild. Some very exciting events coming up for the 2019 calendar year!
The holidays will rush by and we will soon be turning the calendar to a new year. There already is a list of events you may wish to mark on your 2019 calendar.
We have been sending reminders for the upcoming 2019 Mo State Quilt Guild (MSQG) Spring Meeting, held April 26th through April 28 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., just across the river from the Spring Paducha Quilt Show. We hope you plan to come early and catch both the show and the MSQG Annual Spring Meeting.
The other save the date is for the 2019 Fall MSQG Retreat in Jefferson City October 11th through 13th. The event is packed with lots of classes, after dinner activities, show and sell, vendors, good food and friends celebrating their Guild’s 30th anniversary.
There is another event you may not want to miss and it is Quilter’s Journey Retreat, held at the Beautiful Echo Bluff State Park, Eminence, Missouri. This retreat is hosted by Terri Welch, owner of Quilter’s Journey in Salem, Missouri. The retreat is scheduled for January 24-27 and registration must be made no later than December 31, 2018. For more information regarding this retreat please contact Terri Welch (Wed-Sat) 573-453-2100. Terri has a lot of fun planned for your enjoyment. Terri also plans to attend our MSQG Fall Retreat 2019 as a vendor. I personally hope she brings a lot of her rulers. Terri has an eye for cool rulers and the quilts you can turn out in a short time. Hope you can make both events and learn fun tips.
